I’ve been thinking a lot about body image lately too. Having a certain body can be such attentional currency for the gays. But focusing on that is tired now… I want to feel & look my best, & keep my mobility as I age. Niggas and their thoughts be damned. All of this is a marathon, not a sprint.

Trauma had made me be super hard on myself and high-strung about perfectionism. I’ve been learning to give myself grace, breathe, and accept that authenticity will always beat perfection (which doesn’t even exist).
