Who cares about integrity when you can print money by pimping out your characters for anything? That, and showing up in one of the biggest and most profitable works of media in recent money, you can't miss out on that green.

I feel a lot of them would have *some* reservation about their characters being in a game where Hank Hill does a silly dance and then gets noscoped by Goku. Then again, licensing is a big business with a lot of money on the table, especially nowadays in the age of fandom.

Seeing all the kinds of collaborations Fortnite has accumulated, I wonder... are a lot of the licensors aware of Fortnite being a game with guns about (bloodlessly) shooting people? Especially considering how strict licensors can be with how their characters are portrayed.

The cover itself is pretty worn, but the disc itself doesn't really have many scratches.

An unexpected find, a CD of the soundtrack to Bare Knuckle II/Streets of Rage 2 by Yuzo Koshiro... in a small bookstore with a bunch of Kenny G comps. I'm curious on what journey this CD from Japan must've gone to end up at an unsuspecting store in the USA for dirt cheap three decades later.

The back cover for the soundtrack to Bare Knuckle II, featuring Yuzo Koshiro wearing a leather jacket looking down.

Inside the case for the soundtrack to Bare Knuckle II, featuring to the left a photo of Yuzo Koshiro again, now sitting by a window with his left knee raised. On the right is the CD itself.

Do they also do the Spiderverse/YIIK choppy animation thing? I've seen some "PSX inspired" projects (Or low poly stuff in general) do that even though the console was capable of more consistent animation.

Affinity: Radiant
Cheru is a small winged critter with wings and winglike ears, glowing rings around its arms, and a halo around its tail. It has additional eyes on its ears and wings. It's arms are little nubs and it has two-toed, hooflike(?) feet.
Cherubin is a taller critter with similar features, but with more blue across it's body, additional additional rings above its feet, and eyes on its hands, feet, and new yellow clothing-like thingy around its chest.

One game I'm still proud of collecting is a complete copy of DS Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars I bought almost 5 years ago, with all manuals and the map of Liberty City. Being someone who grew up with a DSi and also likes GTA, this was on my radar for a while.

A photo of the case for the Nintendo DS Game Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, showing many of the game's characters and some firearms.

On the top right is a handwritten sticker reading "40", which was the price I got the game for ($40) back in 2021.

The case from the previous case opened, showing the game card inside and the extras it came with outside, including the manuals and the map of the game's rendition of Liberty City.

I also got Pokémon Black 2 later for $40, also loose. Now that'll set you back ~$120-$150. People go crazy for Pokémon.

A Nintendo DS Game Card of Pokèmon Black Version 2.

A chart of the prices of Pokèmon Black 2 in the aftermarket fron pricecharting.com

Note the price has stayed steady around $25 prior to 2020, where it started to rise. Now it can fetch for as high as $150.

This is just for a loose copy (Cartridge only), mind you.

I feel a bit lucky to have gotten a loose copy of Pokémon White back in 2018-2019 for only ~$30, which was a little while before Gen V started to develop a cult following. For reference, a loose copy now would be ~$75-$90. (According to Price Charting)
