There's no better way to spend a weekday than surrounded by nature! Recently, our team got to adventure together across multiple sites in the wider Hobart region. A big thank you to Mark Wapstra (ECOtas) for his fantastic training session on identifying eucalypts! #environment #nipaluna #kunanyi

Have you heard of Chytrid fungus? It’s a major threat to frogs, so keeping an eye out for signs of it is important! You can help stop the spread of Chytrid by cleaning your boots, vehicles, and camping equipment before entering remote areas or coming in contact with dams and wetlands.

This national project aims to prevent the spread of Phytophthora dieback by equipping teams across the country with the skills and resources they need. Enviro-dynamic’s beloved Pippa was trained using this funding, making it possible to now offer Phytophthora dieback detection services in Tasmania.

To help stop the spread of Phytophthora dieback, it’s crucial to know where it’s occurring, which can be achieved with the help of Pippa and other detection dogs.

On a recent field trip for a little penguin survey, team member Erin was joined each evening of the survey by a family of three rakali. Over the course of the surveys, she watched them forage along the shoreline, swimming out to catch crabs before returning to shore to eat them.

You know it’s a good day when you spot a rakali! Rakali are Australia’s native water rat. As a secretive animal most of the time, seeing one in the wild is a special occasion.
