100 days into the application of the EU Pact on Migration & Asylum, attention is needed on how statelessness provisions are being applied. At the EUAA State of Asylum Conference this week, our Director Chris Nash welcomed new Pact provisions but highlighted gaps in their application.

65 years on from the 1961 Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness, millions remain without a nationality. No one should be left in legal limbo because of gaps in nationality laws, discrimination, or arbitrary deprivation of citizenship.
