Test printed my dragon sculpt - zenithal highlight with rattle cans to bring out the shapes. This is printed with 0.4 mm nozzle on my aA1 mini. I'm very happy with this result considering I will go down to a 0.2 mm for the final print. #3dprinting #art #miniature #b3d #blender #MiniaturePainting

Got my self a A1 mini this Christmas, and my first project is this custom base for a reaper bones miniature. I sculpted the cobble stone in #blender using default brushes. Top down "before & after" comparison of the 100mm round base with lots of decorative rock slabs, branches and tufts I'm painting for a Custodes Telemon Dreadnought.

It's painted with differently colored greys to resemble irl rock as much as possible, just like the gnarled branches and grass tufts. There's also a large circular rune painted with a color blend from blue to green into yellow, which is emitting subtle osl on surrounding objects.

It's photographed in front of neutral grey fabric background and I put a tiny, low opacity version of my icon in the bottom left corner.
