Safe housing can be lifesaving for survivors. HUD's proposed changes to the Equal Access Rule would make it harder for LGBTQIA+ survivors to access shelter and housing when they need it most. Submit a comment opposing the rule by June 29! tinyurl.com/mtxjxp5a

@valor.us & the Partnership welcome the court’s decision to safeguard survivors & the advocates who support them from new, unlawful funding conditions. Sexual assault & domestic violence can happen to anyone, & healing services should never depend on immigration status. www.cpedv.org/news/court-b...

🚨 Support survivors of violence & call Congress NOW! Threats to federal funding due to a govt. shutdown have immediate & severe consequences for survivors, the programs they rely on, and the advocates who help them. Congress must protect these lifesaving services. #FundSafetyNow
Call 202-224-3121 and tell Congress: Hello, my name is [name] and I live in [city, state]. I'm calling to urge Congress and the Administration to work together toward a bipartisan solution that will ensure lifesaving services for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence without compromising health care for survivors. Survivors need both services and health care to heal and find safety. Please protect federal funding and keep health care affordable and accessible. Thank you for supporting survivors.

Domestic violence & sexual assault programs in CA rely on federal funding for staffing, services, & prevention. Recent federal grant terminations threaten domestic violence programs & victims’ lives. Congress must reinstate and protect our funding! #FundSafetyNow #ProtectVictims

When federal funds force domestic & sexual violence programs to close, victims often have no choice but to stay with abusers, risking further violence against themselves and their children. This is unacceptable. Congress must support + protect essential funding. #FundSafetyNow #ProtectVictims

"Without [VOCA funding], domestic violence victims in our community will end up staying in dangerous relationships, leaving without the needed support, which can put them in even more danger, or getting out and not having the resources they need to rebuild their lives."
