I’m just not in the least looking forward to the return of the Premier League & the City match. It’s a circus. You can’t keep football front & centre of it with what’s going on. It’s irrelevant, a distasteful sideshow, an actual farce, as far as I’m concerned.

Turns out, I’ve been paying so much on an ongoing utility bill through DD that I’m now a year ahead, & don’t need to pay it for a year. It feels like a win, but it’s not, really. It’s lucky I could afford it in the first place & wasn’t under financial pressure.
