I injected black market hydrocortisone into my foot (not the first time, the fifth time, there are a lot of things you'll do if you're in a lot of pain). It helps the spasticity which is a big problem for me. It feels like my foot is tearing itself apart. I don't like how it makes me feel though.

I bought myself a big container of ranch seasoning, which you can make ranch dressing with, just take some mayonnaise, little milk and seasoning. I have discovered if you add a little mustard either powder or you can use the pre-made stuff. It ups the complexity so much and makes it taste highend AF

My uncle, who is probably autistic, has always been obsessed with listening to police and fire scanners. I recently discovered that you don't need a scanner anymore. You just need an app for your phone, I downloaded one and then I forgot to unsubscribe and delete it before it charged me.

The most pills I take is at night, and there's some antibiotics in there because I've been fighting an infection of some kind since basically Feb 2025. This isn't even all the ones I take in a day (I take something 4x a day). I don't want to take any anymore. They have side effects, I hate them.

It's just a picture of about a handful of pills. They are different sizes and shapes. Some of them are capsules, some of them are tablets. Some of them are round, some of them are oval. It literally is a handful though. I can swallow them all at once which is kind of impressive I think. But I've just been swallowing so many for so long, it would take so long if I had to swell them individually. There's just over 20 pills here like maybe 24 or possibly 26, I don't really count them. It's a few more than I would normally take because of the antibiotics. But yeah it's a lot. It's just a lot. I don't understand people who take a whole lot of vitamins voluntarily because I have to take all this crap just to feel okay, and I don't even feel that great because all this crap causes side effects. If I could quit taking it I would. I'd just quit tomorrow, the problem is that the consequences would be severe. I'd get sicker, my mental health would degrade pretty quickly, so I have to take all of it. Yay... The unenthusiasm is killing me. I at least wish that they were prettier colors, too many of them are white or beige. I don't like it.

I foraged something out of my yard today. Pouzolzia indica, mostly grows in Asia and the tropics, so of course it's a weed in Miami. Smells really nice, very herbaceous, I ate some, tasted good, supposed to be healthy. Has a really unique pattern to its leaves. I'm not dead yet, guess it's ok to eat

An image of Pouzolzia indica (I'm sorry I don't know the common name because I spent a fair amount of time before I figured out out whether or not I could eat it), I thought it might be some kind of basil initially, I had basil growing in that same spot wild for a while, and it smelled a lot like basil, but before I just go eating things, I like to figure out what they are. Apparently this is Pouzolzia indica, I didn't figure out if it had it had a common name. Just that I could eat it and not die. In fact, they cook with it in Asian cultures, apparently you can find it in Asia and the tropics and I live in Miami so It only makes sense that it grows like a weed here. Pretty tasty though. Nice and herbaceous.

That was the picture this is my commentary. These people are persistent AF. I don't know where they get the idea that this is my mom's number. It was briefly her number, for ~6 months, 34 years ago. Then my parents had a big argument when I was 10, and this became my phone because she couldn't be bothered to carry it or to charge it and it pissed him off. He was like Em would be better off with it and gave it to me. For 34 years this has been my number. She never paid the bill, it's never been in her name, it was in my dad's name. I was an authorized account user once I was a teenager, my mother was never even that on the account, she couldn't be arsed to deal with anything that went wrong. I took her phone in when it was broken.

After my dad died I took the account over, I paid for her phone. She never paid for mine This is my number. She doesn't pay for her own phone now. Her sister does. When she needs a new phone she gets her sister's hand-me-down. I pay for my phone and my kid's phone, there was a very brief time where I only paid for my phone, it was when my kid was very small and after I told her she needed to pay for her own (never did, conned her sister into doing it). Lasted about 4 years. It's insulting.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 5,200 people in the United States died from drug overdoses involving kratom between 2020 and 2024. And calls to poison control centers involving kratom have spiked 1,200% in the last decade.

This is lying with statistics. This is what that looks like. They had to drum up 4 years of overdoses "involving" which means there may have been more than one drug present, in a 4-year period to get to 5,200.

That's one year. We are not talking at all about making alcohol illegal again.

Calls to poison control centers involving kratom have spiked 1,200% in the last decade. What were they a decade ago? Were they zero?? Were they 100? Were they a thousand? I tred to find something about this and could not. But I'll give you some random figures that make the problem with this statistic easy to understand. If they were zero a decade ago, now they are 1,200. If they were 100 a decade ago, now they 12k. This is basically impossible, but if they were a thousand a decade ago, they are 120k now.

Allow me to place this in perspective, and tell you why I really don't think that kratom can account for 120k calls a year. According to PubMed in 2004, Acetaminophen overdose was the leading cause for calls to Poison Control Centers (>100,000/year) and accounted for more than 56,000 emergency room visits, 2,600 hospitalizations, and an estimated 458 deaths due to acute liver failure each year. Acetaminophen is more dangerous. That's Tylenol. Tylenol is not some black market drug, it's on every Pharmacy shelf. The odds that those calls have gone down and not stayed fairly static or even gone up, low.

It's the most heavily studied part of my body and still, sometimes I can eat food and it's okay, and other times I eat the exact same thing and I am in so much pain. It doesn't make any sense.
