I was published in @xtramagazine.com this week! Shared a heartfelt story of coming out to my dad as a means of protecting my queer sibling 🌈❤️🏳‍⚧ I feel so incredibly lucky to have such a bond with them xtramagazine.com/love-sex/i-c...

Having interviewed the three progressive mayoral candidates people have been asking me about this year - I see there are a lot of similarities. It will be an interesting race in the coming months to see how these candidates continue to solidify their plans for Vancouver. More to come from me soon!

Rejections are always going to be a part of freelance writing. But it's important to remember a few things: 1. It's okay to be sad, we are allowed to honour our feelings 2. A rejection isn't a reflection on us as writers or the quality of our work 3. Keep moving forward #KeepWriting

Usually, when we say we can't do something, what we mean is that we won't do something unless we can guarantee that we'll do it prefectly. -- The Artists Way week 7

Art is not about thinking something up. It is about the, getting something down. If we are trying to think something up, we are straining to reach for something that's just beyond our grasp, "up there in the stratosphere, where art lives on high" When we get something down, there is no strain.
