Wish my iconographic knowledge was better. Maybe not ecclesiastical? Is that a fossil beside the bird? The bird feathers almost suggest a fish hybrid, a risky departure from the 7 day creation story. Vestments brooch suggests a nod to a museum? Or collection? Urn fountain, a spa?

It was us this morning, off Pirty beach at really stupid o'clock. Wardie Bay might have been Newhaven coadtal Rowing? One of theirs is called the Wee Michael, being the next boat built in Newhaven after the Great Michael, and acknowledging the scale difference!

Met a neighbour earlier, just off shift in a physiotherapy clinic,on reception. She's in her 70s, had to explain to younger colleagues, what a colander was. The producer of many suns, obvs.

The picture on the front of Reform's policy is of HMS Ocean on the River Thames in 2012. It was sold by to the Brazilian navy in 2018. Turns out you can judge a book by its cover.

Rainwater disposal fails evident on stonework. Horrible junction by the peppercorn corbelling, that's not going to work. And that plant growth by the clasped downpipe - such a nice detail - at root-heave risk.
