The "Burnham bounce" has largely been driven by Green voters coming back to the fold. Labour MPs warn that spells trouble if more oil and gas is approved following a summer of extreme weather.

Oh interesting Rosemary - esp as you are such an advocate for ethical governance, one of the 3 pillars I included in good governance. Impact is important but I thought not a first order principle but more an outcome of governing well. I agree it mustn't be forgotten: 1 of the 5 mindsets #UKGovsRead

You are not alone Jane in not warming to the word but much of the power in our system is vested in that team (not an individual) which then works with others, taking into account their voices. But it's always crucial to know the exact roles & who has to take which decisions

#UKGovsRead & the latest Ofsted framework hasn't solved the problem of its disproportionate effect on school leaders. So we need to double down on reducing the role of school inspections in the web of accountability. Ironically introducing MAT inspections could help finally turn this corner

It would be interesting to have comparative figures of how many articles & other MSM coverage on each topic over the period. Is there any correlation? Housing is a constant theme if you spend time with young people & that seems to include most of those in their 30's now. Yet still not in the top 5

We are in the third drought in five years. We have the National Trust and NFU - those radical types - sounding the alarm on unprecedented temperatures. But so little from any single figure in politics talking about the climate crisis.

It's noticeable, too, that there wasn't a single question on the climate, at a time when Europe is experiencing catastrophic wild-fires & record-breaking heat. It's astonishing how low down the political agenda this remains in Britain, when all the environmental indicators are signalling disaster.
