It's about a healthy 68 year old woman who tells her family she's going to end her life that day, on her own terms. The book is a debate about autonomy, ageing, and death. I would still recommend it despite the predictability!

I have just finished reading Enough by Dawn French. It's the first novel of hers I've read, and its controversial theme is what compelled me to pick it up. I wish the ending hadn't been so predictable, but the arguments for and against throughout were interesting. #booksky #amreading

Without You I'm Nothing, Placebo's second album, came out on this day 28 years ago. A brilliant album, and the title track is a brilliant song. Definitely in my top 50 songs of all time. youtube.com/watch?v=c14q... #OTD #NowPlaying

Four tapas meals out last week and over the weekend! Fab food, drinks, and company throughout my birthday month so far. Might be time to order a salad next, though! #birthday

Well, breaking my foot on my birthday night out, just 5 weeks before an 8-hour flight and a two-week holiday of walking, swimming, and surfing, was not part of the plan 🫠🙃

The music in How Soon Is Now? was fantastic. The band and vocals were brilliant. The plot wasn’t quite what I expected, and the way it weaved in and out of music you want to sing along to and dialogue on mental health, suicidal thoughts and trauma, felt jarring at times. Worth a trip to see though!

It’s a Wonderful Life is my favourite Christmas film by far, and Oklahoma! is a great film too. However, I’d highly recommend watching Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool, which tells the story of Gloria Grahame’s own life and sees Annette Bening star as her.

Five games in and we've thrown the league. I've only been watching women's football for seven years but I think this is the worst start to the WSL I've ever witnessed for Arsenal. 10th place. Wow!

Fantastic long weekend in Edinburgh. Incredibly lucky with the weather. No whiskey or drinking sesh for me due to current health, but a well-needed trip and a stunning city. ☀️🍂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Character-wise, in my head, Frank was very Bernard Cribbins-esque, and Dylan was a bit Roy Kent from Ted Lasso. That’s how I imagined them.

’Tis Stevie Nicks season and the time of year when I relisten to Tapestry by Carole King right through. But I do think JJ72 and their self-titled album are so underrated, often forgotten, and always remind me of autumn. youtu.be/CVCsQDVWLVg?...

The backlash against Ed Sheeran has been powerful, passionate and quickly mounted. Would now love to see people zoom out and look at the bigger picture: Hollywood as a whole, and the elites, including Robert Kraft, who sits at the centre of this current situation.

A thing I really miss about #Yellowjackets, the closer it gets to its conclusion, is the humour and light relief from the earlier seasons. Adult Misty & Nat as bestie detectives, Van trying to explain and defend her Tinder dating to Tai, Tai crash-parking her family 4x4, anything adult Shauna does 😂

Haven't had a single workplace success in six months, and haven't been able to launch a damn thing in three months. Endless loop of stakeholder reviews and pushbacks. I'd be more productive banging my head against a wall.

I’m surprised by how many fans are negatively commenting on our 26/27 team photo. Yes, we have work to do given our recent performances. Yes, we have more talent than available positions, even with a regular rotation. But look at the class, quality, and potential here. It is worth celebrating 🙌

September is PCOS (now PMOS) Awareness Month. PMOS affects 1 in 10 women, yet 70% go undiagnosed and unsupported. PMOS is a hormonal and metabolic condition affecting hormones, insulin sensitivity, weight, ovulation and fertility. #PMOSAwarenessMonth

I get why people are annoyed by the Sydney Sweeney ad. I don't see the relevance of a woman, not in sports, posing naked with various sporting equipment repeating "just sports" it is insulting to female athletes and sports fans. Then again, the marmite reaction has everyone talking about the brand!
