the stm used my suggestion! they got inspiration from vancouver and installed an observation deck with fun facts and windows to look at the blue line extension construction. you can find it at parc de talcy on ave de la roche-yvon. #montreal #stminfo

#montreal is about to welcome its biggest sporting event since the 1976 olympics. chrono, the official public transit app of the region, can't show any of the bus detours caused by the event. @transit.app, which is built in mtl and is translink's and oc transpo's official app, shows all the detours.

i tried @mulocargo.bsky.social for the first time today to go to ikea. it was super fun and convenient! if you’ve never heard of mulo, it’s the first cargo bikeshare program in canada.

the first sponge street in #montreal was inaugurated this afternoon. it’ll help reduce the risk of flooding in the area as intense rain events become more common due to climate change. the city also closed the street to through traffic, making the area safer for pedestrians. 📍 rue larivière

if you’re looking for something to do this summer in #montreal, you can attend one of the free guided tours at city hall. the visit is about an hour long and is super interesting since the building has been recently renovated.
