I'm tired of this fuckin Xbox 360 scene giving these console revisions new names cause they're all woke and they find out new woke information and immediately try to George Orwell Newspeak from 1984 and from Animal Farm us with all these new names

YouTube hasn't paid out music streaming earnings to Distrokid for almost two months with no communication, so my income has been cut in half just for fun. It's a startling reminder that the entire streaming ecosystem could just go away overnight because a tech company lets it. Buy albums if you can.

Many don't seem to get that decomps are basically made by the most obsessed fans of a game, for the most obsessed fans of a game. Code that is subtly off in lots of different ways is the opposite of what they want. Not to mention the awful "prose".

This was the stack of games I've been shuffling around my office I was using when testing Peer Pressure. Now they can go back to the game room! I have no doubt that Lily is relieved.

massive shoutouts: - Grimdoomer for inventing the previously thought "impossible" softmod basically entirely himself - ihatecompvir for initially discovering the RB Blitz vulnerability - Máté for figuring out and implementing methods of heavily speeding up the original 1+ hour BadUpdate exploit

Grimdoomer has just released the first version of the "Peer Pressure" softmod for the Xbox 360, giving code execution at boot time, within 20 seconds, with no hardware modifications required, supporting the majority of console motherboard revisions! github.com/grimdoomer/X...

console output from a LibXenon homebrew showing debug logs from console compatibility detection, ending with "Current console (Corona) too new for homebrew (Trinity)!", followed by output logs from patching which ends with "Patched successfully!"

I think my favorite gag in portal isn't any particular joke or bit. It's the continued treatment of "testing" as some vague, ephemeral idea. What are they testing exactly? Who knows. Who cares. You're testing. Do the test. Aperture needs to keep testing.
