Are you interested in the Trails series, but are unsure of committing to 13 games (and counting)? Trails in the Sky FC and SC tell a whole, satisfying story. You could walk away happy after SC, even if you never play another Trails game. (But hopefully you'll want to continue!)

Eheh, that would do it. Though you can proooobably make a good introductory game even as a genre sicko? But yeah I've tried multiple games (mostly Touhous) and I think I'm simply not into it. My complaints are likely more "I don't like this type of gameplay" than anything Zeroranger specific

Like on a core mechanical level this just does nothing to my brain I keep thinking that if I can just push through the discomfort long enough to actually learn a game and get good at it, that will change. But it doesn't happen. It's just making me wish I was playing a different game

There's like two main melodies in it, right. The one that evokes From Now On and a slower one that as far as I can tell is from this song only When that second one comes in for the second time, behind the first one, but it's a different variation and transitions into Don't Forget. MAN.

It makes you walk back and forth across the whole town like three times for no reason but your reward is that a fairy goes "here's a magic jar you can use to catch moonbeams" and you get a cutscene where there's a little light show and then you have a moonbeam in a jar It's so cute!
