As someone who lives in this district, I was disappointed that her campaign took so much attention away from Mike Simmons and Bushra Amiwala, two young progressives who grew up here and have been doing great work as elected officials already. But I agree that Kat ran an impressive campaign!

I like dogs, but this is a terrible idea. It's exclusionary to people with allergies or phobias, plus those who just don't want to share their dining spaces with strangers' animals. Just called my alderwoman to ask her to vote "no."
