I had issues with my ears all summer and could barely hear anything and now that it’s resolved, every sound seems so unbearably loud. Like I truly cannot deal. Anyone know of good ear protection for someone who needs to hear her kids but not be driven up the wall by them?

Pretty fucked up over Parker tbh. My social media is full of other parents of autistic kids and there’s a lot of sharing of our own stories lately. Could’ve been any of our kids. Your kid doesn’t elope until they do. The balance between autonomy and safety is hard. Trusting respite/schools is hard.
