A2. Again, this is one of those challenging questions. I think once we get diagnosed, we are likely to avoid exposure to additional cancers. But until then, IDK how receptive people are to hearing don't do this or that so you don't develop cancer #AYACSM

A3: Collaboration with other advocacy orgs that are funded BUT must have space for creativity to reach the #AYAcancer community through different platforms and mediums. Also, travel scholarships for specific cancer type, etc. Patients listen to other patients. #AYACSM

We can always call them out and ask them what credibility they actually have; what degree do they have? What peer-reviewed evidence can they produce to back up their claims? We need to call them out at their own game. #ayacsm

That’s the thing…some of this systemic with not having the bandwidth to give/say the evidence-based information. Plus, not all drs have the personality to do so on social media. #AYACSM

A2. Having enough qualified healthcare providers generating the real information. There are some good ones out there (Dr. Eleonora Teplinsky is great), but most providers are so busy and overworked that they don’t have time to creative credible content #ayacsm

Sorry to pop in late! I'm a sarcoma medical oncologist in Seattle. Hearing from many folks, it seems like the sheer volume of information (and misinformation) only increases by the year. If there aren't good resources/groups for your specific cancer, can be a challenge to find good info. #AYACSM
