Our Solar System is orbiting the center of our Galaxy at about 220 km/s so in 2025 we collectively traveled something like 7 billion kilometers across the Milky Way. I’ve been craving painting using physical media again so I created this with gouache and cut out painted paper (although I’d like to get back into oil paints as well). I’ve always been obsessed with the juicy neon kitschy red of maraschino cherries.
