I can't stop thinking how wrong the tech bros have understood creativity and creators. Or even just having hobbies. #erliart

One of my dream goals I think, would be to illustrate some children's books. Although, it seems increasingly harder to land those jobs today. Another would probably be making album covers. Like, make one from a the scraps and objects I have.

Spent the weekend retreated in my nook to write and crochet. Upgraded my yarnminder with a custom "hook halo" so now I can always bring my yarn on the go.

Em @emfen.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Yup! My little bunny character Violet! I have made clothes before too, but enjoy freehand plushmaking more. :)

Em @emfen.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I forgot how fun crocheting could be, but it's also very tedious. I'm down to only the head and ears now! 😮‍💨😅 #crochet #plush #plushmaker #furry #furryart

Taking some time to pick up crocheting again, just to make my own plush #furry #furryart #plush #plushmaker #crochet

@homemadehorrors.bsky.social someone suggested this could be one of your critters, recognize them? Found it at a thrift store a while back.

Em @emfen.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I spent the weekend filing away at making the cover art for my comic. If you wanna check it out, the first 6 pages are up on Cara for free! Like it? Tip jar in the link! Link: cara.app/post/f958d05... #comic #comics #art #originalcomic #oc #ocsky #originalcharacter #furryart #furry #sfwfurry

Respect that dedication to unique textures, really shows! 👌

Em @emfen.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Your art is really unique! Do you have a specific program you use, or is this just what you do within any digital program? Really adore the liquid and gloss effects, they are awesome. 🤯

Do you have any other site you have a legacy gallery to? I will consider any artist, even if there has been a hiatus for a bit, I just want to have clear visual proof.

Em @emfen.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Yes, but I would like you to drop a link to your portfolio first. Otherwise we can stop right here. It's my hard line.

Em @emfen.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Do you have a portfolio?

Em @emfen.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

The mood board is just to show their function/vibe, I want really simple designs that is essentially doodled outlines and simple visally readable elements.

Em @emfen.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Do you have a protfolio I could check out?

Em @emfen.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Yes, $30+ depending on what is negotiated

Em @emfen.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Hey it's H'chul! I've been workin' on him for the past ~6 months or so, and he's finally done!! He's got a lot of little bits that dangle and shine in the light. :D dyed wool, pipe cleaners, flat felt, fabric scraps, various beads + gems, iridescent paint #art #fiberart #needlefelt #felting #craft

several photos of a needle felted sculpture: a long dog-dragon-lookin' character with 4 ears, body twisted in a circle, and highly decorated. His coloration is turquoise/white/orange with lime green accents. He has a feathered mane around his face/going down his back in those same colors, plus 11 long, purple feathers that stick out and frame his face. he's holding a classic-style hunting horn in his left hand. two long strands of colorful beads dangle from behind his head

several more shots of the same sculpture:
- a closeup shot of an arm, showing feather detail and beads at the base of several of them.
- two shots of his body loop, decorated with a braided fabric wrap. several beads resembling beetle elytra dangle from this loop in shades of green to purple
- around his waist and his back hips, more braided fabric wraps that end in showy bows, decorated with more elytra and small rose-like beads
- the end of his tail splits into a Y-shape, one side hosting jewelry with 3 dangling flowers

more shots:
- backside look, his face is visibly uneven from this angle. we love a wonky guy <3
- bead detail on the horn and a "sash" dropping from his left shoulder and held up by his right arm
- close up on one of the fabric wraps + elytra beads

Oh wow, this is pretty!

I'm all for new writers creating cool stories, but if you are going to be a smelly fart and be asleep at the wheel, I don't want to read your book!! Your own words matter to me, and I want to have that raw unfiltered you on the pages. Miss me with these TEMU-ass novellas. #aislop #literature

It is not equitable. Surprised people seem to think it is, but then again, the Dunning-Krüger effect is very real.

The whimsy shall continue posthaste #art | #comic | #artmeme | #oc | #ocsky | #sona | #fursona

Very boring upset person yelling at chill cartoon rabbit; "Ugh! I'm sick of you! Can't you take anything seriously?!"
The cartoon rabbit calmly replies; "Uh, sure.."
Next frame the rabbit has suddenly become very real on the matter of the situation and asks; "Like this?"
The out of frame upset person then replies; "Too serious!!"

There seems to have been a fine matter of balance, but where the line lies, the rabbit does not know.
