Um... SOME of the electrical tape and sharpie markers are black, but if you want electrical tape, do not ask me for help vandalizing the QR codes, I have literally everything BUT the black within arm's length right now.

All the electrical tape I had within arm's length when I wrote this, including four nearly spent rolls of white, dark green, blue and orange, the last of which I always keep in my purse, a lightly used roll of yellow, which has far cleaner edges than the nearly-spent rolls, and an utterly pristine-edged roll of partly used purple, which is so pristine because I keep it inside the clear plastic case it came in. Why do I have all this tape within arm's reach, you ask? I keep my tools all in a drawn on top of the desk where my computer is because I have fatigue and getting up to go get my tools is a nuisance, and the tape lives in the drawer with all my tools.

Over the past 24 hours, MinnMax host and YouTube essayist Jacob Geller has been accused of sexual assault by a series of people online via social media sites such as Twitter and BlueSky. These accusations claim that Geller was under investigation for rape under Title IX after being accused of sexually assaulting his unconscious girlfriend during his time at the University of North Carolina in 2016.

This was then backed up after a BlueSky user found a list of Sexual Assault Records that UNC was forced to publish back in 2020, which revealed that Jacob Geller was suspended for one semester due to sexual assault or violence. It doesn't go into detail about the nature of the sexual assault, but it is evidence he was found guilty and punished for something related to sexual assault.

I had a really good time on call with a friend a few weeks back yakking about us both having watched different series of the Mako Mermaids franchise, because they were kinda mediocre tweenage girl fodder, but they had cool practical effects. Also? mermaids! Girly stuff, even "cringe" can be fun.

Crew stand around on land while another crew member under the water reaches up with a hand to support the actor as he leans on the pool edge in the prosthetic tail. A note about the tail is how it's noticeably longer than most mermaiding tail prosthetics, which allowed for really incredible looking motion in underwater swimming shots.

LLMs don’t see the letters the same way Humans do, they see language through tokens, it’s like asking a blind person what red or blue looks like, their brain doesn’t have any input data regarding what colour is, but a blind person is still an AGI.

For the record, I don’t think LLMs are AGI just yet, but the Strawberry thing isn’t some new Turing Test people are making it out to be.

Obviously, cops should be held to a higher standard, but a big problem with cops there is that they are pulling from the local populace they have to work with and that population all have the car psychosis. I dunno how to fix that because it's environmental issue so long as they all gotta drive.
