The 100% requirement was to beat every goal, collect all cash, clear every gap and win every minigame. This unlocked everything in the game. Unlike THPS3 I didn't have to beat this with every character... thankfully. xD Otherwise I'd be playing this for months!

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 on Thursday. 🛹 This is a very good game but I didn't enjoy it as much as THPS3, there was less replay value and some of the goals were needlessly tedious / difficult. I still had lots of fun, though! :3

The 100% requirement was to beat every objective, this unlocked all the bonus features (shown above). I played on the easiest difficulty because playing on the harder ones didn't unlock anything. The multiplayer mode looks interesting... 👀

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Star Wars: The Clone Wars last week. 👽 This was 'just fine', the missions were entertaining enough but there wasn't anything too exciting or complicated going on. The framerate was pretty bad and sometimes made me feel dizzy. 🥴

Oh also... my disc drive was chugging BALLS while trying to play this game. The disc wasn't even that scratched, the game must have just been constantly loading things. It was so loud I could barely hear the characters talking during cutscenes. 😂

The 100% requirement was to collect every wizard card and get every key / quest item. I've played this before so I generally knew what to do, though I followed a guide just to help get this done faster. The best parts of the game are probably the castle, music and graphics.

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets last week. 🧙‍♀️ Literally any other version of this better, there's extremely little gameplay (aside from rudimentary puzzles and padding) and you spend a huge amount of time in cutscenes. 😴

Also, the first 2.5hrs of this playthrough (not included in the final time) were wasted because the game decided to lock me out of saving my progress. Why? Because fuck you, that's why. There was literally no reason to program the game like this, fuck whoever did that. 🙂

Why is this game bad? The controls take forever to do anything and refuse to work 90% of the time, the camera is awful and often works against you, the level designs are too cluttered (given the character sizes) and the enemy CPUs react far too fast regardless of difficulty.

The 100% requirement for this game was to unlock every character and collect every gallery photo. I've only 'finished' this because I didn't do the latter, I literally couldn't be bothered. This would potentially involve an ungodly amount of RNG, plus the game just sucks.

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, 'finished' Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee earlier this month. 🦖 Fuck. This. Piece. Of. Shit. Game. The only redeeming features of this were the genre and maybe the graphics, I don't think I've despised a game as much as this one. 😩

Next meet I'm going to see if I can find a good setting combination that works well at the bar / stage. :3 It's a pretty dark room so it's been difficult getting good stuff in there. In the meantime, the overhead light above the pool table has proved very useful. ^^

I might be the first person to upload a full 100% playthrough of this game on Youtube. 👀 The only other one I found used an 'infinite score' cheat code and didn't get the gold stars legitimately. I also show how to unlock the final jet (which is ambiguously documented online).

The 100% requirement for this game was to get a gold star on every mission. Some had insanely high score requirements, I was initially worried I wouldn't be able to complete this. I eventually found a trick that trivialised most missions, though some remained extremely tough.

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Top Gun Combat Zones last month. ✈️ This was below average but tolerable, mostly held back by the repetitiveness of the missions. The flight and shooting mechanics were reasonably satisfying. 👀

My mistake was booting up the game... 🥴

There are no good motorcross games on the GameCube.

I decided to beat the Championship mode to compensate for not being able to finish every challenge. This didn't unlock anything and I had already beaten (almost) every track anyway, but if I didn't do this I'd have felt even more dissatisfied with the playthrough. xD

No other challenge gave me issues like this, not even the other high jump challenge. My sense is that the poor PAL framerate basically just fucks up the physics and prevents you getting the height and angle needed for the jump.

The second to last challenge involves getting a high jump, I spent about 2-3 hours trying to do this and I couldn't even get close to the height required. The video here is my best attempt. Video proof exists that this is beatable but only on emulator and NTSC (not PAL).

The 100% requirement for this game was to beat every challenge and unlock every track / trick. I only 'finished' this game because there was a single challenge that was, I think, impossible to complete. It's extremely dissatisfying that I was able to do everything except this. 😣

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, 'finished' Big Air Freestyle last month. 🏍️ The tracks were admittedly good and the controls were generally intuitive. The main issue, barring what I'll say later, is that this is so short and doesn't present much reason to replay it.

Originally I was going to go for every Platinum trophy in the Arcade and Challenge modes, but given that these aren't required for 100% (and almost all heavily depended on RNG) I decided against it. I ended up getting some of them by happenstance anyway. ^^

The 100% requirement for this game was to get 100% as calculated in-game. Beating the Story missions on Hard difficulty was at times frustrating / unfair, but I took huge satisfaction in routing out a level and figuring out optimal ways to stay alive and kill enemies. :3

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished TimeSplitters 2 last month. 🕐 This was a fantastic game with loads to do (even in single player)... but it does NOT belong on the GameCube. The required level of precision is insane given you can only aim using a joystick. 😅
