The plot holes we were left with at the end of Onyx Storm irritated me, but now I'm not sure if the plot holes are because the story is badly written or because she just "forgot". Maybe both? I'll wait for the series to be finished to go back and try reading again.

I absolutely loved the first book in the series. The next 2 had some pacing issues and significant plot holes, partially because it started out as a trilogy and got stretched out to 5 books instead. Now idk what to think. We don't know what in the first 3 books is real 🤷🏾‍♀️

Shout out to the author for convincing me to stop reading this series until it's done. She said you can't trust anything written by the scribes. The only story POV we have is the MC, whose memories are being wiped repeatedly. She really just gave herself a loophole to retcon the entire plot.

The number of patients I've watched die because they wouldn't get a blood transfusion 😫. The church would literally have members sitting bedside 24/7 to make sure you didn't try to talk the patient into it. 100% chance this changed because someone high up or their family needed blood.

It's a dryer. You can use it for small dogs too. I got it for the cats because they don't like the noise of the high velocity blow dryer I got for the sled dogs. It's a lot easier from me to throw them on the box to dry than try to hold them now that they're bigger 😅

I just search TikTok/XHS for design ideas. These are the sets that inspired these looks. I really loved the green nail, so I did a set based off that. I've also seen a lot of nails doing the bangle bracelet trend, so I sort of combined the two.

My only comment on the USS Lincoln thing as a Navy veteran is that this is not new. It's been 20 years since my last deployment on an aircraft carrier, and every single deployment we went on somebody jumped overboard. I'm unsurprised that nothing has changed in 2 decades.

My biggest ADHD blessing/ struggle is with object permanency. On one hand, I can walk away from people and forget they ever existed. On the other, I do stupid stuff like turn the side sprinklers on and forget to turn them off for 24 hours. My water bill 😭
