Order on motion for TRO (media ban): “Plaintiffs' Motion for a Temporary Restraining Order is GRANTED. It is further ORDERED that Defendants…shall immediately return, reinstate, and restore the White House "hard pass" press credentials held by employees of CNN, MS NOW, and POLITICO…”

For all these reasons, it is hereby ORDERED that:
1. Plaintiffs' Motion for a Temporary Restraining Order, ECF No. 2, is GRANTED.
2. It is further ORDERED that Defendants (except for President Trump) and their agents, representatives, and all persons or entities acting in concert with them shall immediately return, reinstate, and restore the White House "hard pass" press credentials held by employees of CNN, MS NOW, and POLITICO that were revoked on or about September 18, 2026, until further Order of the Court or the expiration of this Temporary Restraining Order.
3. It is further ORDERED that this Temporary Restraining Order shall remain in effect for 14 days.
4. It is further ORDERED that Plaintiffs shall post a S1.00 bond in accordance with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(c) by October 1, 2026.

From the start of this month…when Massie correctly predicted that Mike Johnson would send them all home early (and Johnson said he was stupid). He was right. And now Johnson’s shaved another day off and packed up even earlier.

Massie tweet: I predicted they'd call off Congress until the election to stop our new Epstein bill.

Johnson said on TV that was "stupid" and “nonsensical."

But then he got a call from "upstairs" and canceled Congress from the middle of September until the election.

The House speaker, Mike Johnson, has cancelled votes currently scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday). This means that lower chamber lawmakers will now head back to their districts for the midterm recess a day early.

The change to schedule means that the House will avoid voting on Republican congressman Thomas Massie's resolution to impeach the defense secretary, Pete Hegseth.

I’m a huge Tupac fan and I absolutely want justice for his murder. But after all that, I’m not really sure how to feel about it. I believe Orlando Anderson killed Tupac — essentially, I believe that the case outlined by the prosecution is broadly correct. BUT… 1/6

Maybe it’s because I’ve spent years marinating in this case, but that was rather abrupt and it won’t take much for jurors to see the gaps that weren’t filled. They’ve already been asking probing and slightly skeptical questions of prosecution witnesses.

Some weirdness went down with the last witness (Devonta Lee, Southside Crips). Keffe D (the defendant ⬇️) kept smirking & shaking his head throughout the testimony & the witness muttered something under his breath about it when the attorneys were conferring with the judge about juror questions.

I think people forget that Levin is a Uni of Chicago-trained lawyer who practiced law for 2 decades.
