This Yank rag is correct, in England we still separate the Anglo-Saxons, the Norse, the Welsh, the Picts, the Scots and the Cornish in all favour to our Norman overlords. Gods, I'm so tired of Americans writing shite about the UK.

I have far too many video ideas and I'm frustrated I can't work on all of them at once. I tend to work myself up about a video idea, that I run the habit of working on it while leaving my current work on the cutting room floor.

I really don't like the way YouTube now does view counts, I can't tell how a video is doing truly until it updates the engaged views parts, which you have to dig into the analytics.

Obviously it was super positive, the Harrying of the North? Just a misunderstanding, making an episode of Grand designs by changing nearly all the churches and abbeys in England to the Norman style, priceless, and of course building loads of castles for the tourism industry. #bayeuxtapestry

The speed's map of Worcester is the most famous illustration of the battle, which shows Worcester in 1651 and is great, it is missing the red hill and perry woods section where Cromwell placed part of his army on the eastern flank of the city, so I drew my own which included them. #historysky

The final stage of the battle of Worcester, the fall, by this time, the royalists had been routed, after being counterattacked by Cromwell and Fort royal had been captured and it's cannons turned onto the city, somehow King Charles managed to escape the burning city and his great escape begins...

The middle of the battle of Worcester, 1651, where Cromwell moves some of his troops towards the south of the city from Red hill and Perrywoods, Charles from Worcester cathedral sees this and moves his troops to attack the now weakened positions, marching out the Sidbury gate, a die is cast moment.

Another map I drew depicting the opening stage of the battle of Worcester 1651, this shows the village of Powick, south of the city, Royalists in blue and Roundheads in red. Cromwell attacked from two sides as he had an advantage in numbers, over double Charles numbers, roughly 30k vs 15k. #battle

One famous aspect from the battle of Worcester, 1651, is the fight on Fort Royal hill, which prior to the battle was turned into a makeshift star fort to protect Worcester from the east, most of Charles cannons were placed on the hill, this mural shows the capture of the hill. #historysky #battle

Worcester itself has very little in the way of physical evidence of the battle despite the widespread damage to the city as the Victorians built on most of the battlefield, however at the small village of Powick just south of the city is St Peter's church, there's musket marks on the church wall.

On this day was the final battle of the British civil wars in 1651 at the city of Worcester, Charles 2nd and his mainly Scottish army had fortified the city as best they could, while Cromwell was blocking off all escape routes and attacked Worcester from the east and south using a bridge of boats.
