I proffer the following photos from my sister's garden in Noojee, VIC, Australia last week: exquisitely curated Blue Things for The Ladies

A path of Blue Things (bottle tops, a pen, torn scraps of tarpaulin etc), each item obsessively and precisely placed on the ground with the occasional pale leaf or piece of pale bark as highlighting, leads to the bower of a Satin Bowerbird in my sister's garden in the mountains of Victoria, Australia

Citrulu has ripened and begins its next phase

An object that resembles a lemon only by very loose interpretation rests upon our kitchen table. It is many-lobed, tentacular, cursèd. Other shots have it sitting next to other, more conventional citrus fruits for comparison and I feel shame for doing this because I think they might be terrified

I reckon this is most likely to impact his supporter base than anything else, most specifically, State leadership in his pocket. This hurts their OWN popularity, as ecological collapse hits agriculture and property prices etc, and media coverage of victims forces scrutiny on local support programs
