OC-Tober Day Seven: Backstory ⏳ Edynvale: Four Years Ago. Just a little glimpse into the past . . .

A digital artwork split into three panels, from top to bottom it tells a short story of how two unlikely friends met.

OC-Tober Day Six: Strengths & Weaknesses 🎃 Just a rough little sketch page for Ember today! Tomorrow is a much bigger project…

A text-heavy image full of little doodles, mostly of the character Ember. The text is mostly big, bold and clear to read. There are two pieces of text that might be less legible: one in the top-right and on in the bottom-right.

The top-right is a little purple note that reads as: “Little Sketch Page Today. Save Energy for Higher Effort & Bigger Artwork Tomorrow”

The bottom-right reads as a humorously unsubtle, intentionally bad dialogue from another character: “Hello I am Polaris the God of Frost and I want to bash Barren’s head in with my shovel to put that bad influence out of its misery…”

OC-Tober Day Five: Personality 🥂 Polaris ❄️ A completely different man depending on the circumstance, a joyous delight or an unblinking hunter. He's been very good at separating his personal life and work life, but how long can that really last...?

A digital artwork with two contrasting sides of the character Polaris’s personality. The top is a warm celebration with mulled wine in hand, the bottom is a mostly obscured hunter wielding a shovel with violent intent.

In the middle is a large man, Barren takes hold of a thorny vine, pulling down a green plant-like man whose suspended by more vines.

OC-Tober Day Three: Old OC 🎃 Greed, I’ve had them for as long as my main two characters, their design’s changed quite a bit over the years 💛

A digital artwork showcasing an older original character made from shredded purple and black iridescent cloth, they sit in a relaxed position. In the top-right corner is a brief description about the character.

It reads as: “A floating head full of strange living gold puppets their shredded remains. Once a Judge built from enchanted cloth, they’ve reinvented themself into the thief they were falsely accused of being.
Now they’re ‘Greed, and free from
that system of eternal judgement.”

(WIP) Scrapped Sketch? Maybe? Not sure yet. Still trying to find the right approach to turning this loadout into an OC… I like the idea of his eyes being the unusual, but I also like the idea of him being maybe not-so-human. We’ll see!

(WIP) I really should do more art of these two scrapping . . . it’s a fun part of their dynamic that brings out Barren’s silly/playful side and Ember’s very competitive side that can go a little too far. #art #wip #oc #Edynvale

A work in progress digital artwork, the green background is made of twisted trees. Below them is two characters, Ember kneeling on Barren’s chest whose lying on the ground. Barren’s hands are up signaling she’s won, and he tells Ember in white text:

A digital artwork of two old men drinking together, complaining about unwanted Immortality.
The text above them is warped for stylistic effect, it reads: "Two Immortals walk into a bar ….. and talk of Life, Death, and Drink. Then of Their Shared Curse."
Dr. Rosch on the left had his DNA spliced with a roach, the character belongs to Slemhosta.
Polaris on the right is a frostbitten magical undead, the character belongs to Ember.
