Cairn terrier fiend, cupcake baker, messy gardener, world weary knitter. Too outspoken for my own good. 🇨🇦

So this is how the Gulf of Mexico looks on Apple Maps right now. Hey www.apple.com/ca/ I bet you like selling lots of stuff to #Canadians. My question, do you intend to change the name of Lake Ontario on maps fed to us on your apps? #cdnpoli

My very first “Buche de Noel” cake. I now know why people only make this once a year! And I can now see a spot of cake that I missed with the ganache. Doh.

This sign went up in the front window of our home on a busy street. It’s not coming down till the tariffs come off.

We just renovated our bathroom. The cabinets came from stonewoodbath.com And we love them. But we really loved that they are a Canadian company! #buycanadian

From today’s Toronto Star letters to the editor…

My wife and I have decided to respond to Donald Trump‘s economic threats and mockery of our country in a most Canadian way: We have cancelled our upcoming month-long stay in March 2025 in a waterfront condo in Premier Ron DeSantis’ great Province of Florida. When we converted our U.S. Snowbird dollars to the sinking Canadian dollar, we were able to purchase two Air Canada tickets to St. John’s, Newfoundland, where we will explore that beautiful part of our country in late June.

Meghan McCain says what? How about conservatives trying to cancel the business of a small florist in a small town in B.C. because they were unhappy with a florist in Tennessee and got the name wrong.

Keri McKinley told Global News the negative online reviews began appearing after the U.S. election.

She believes she’s being targeted because her business, Everbloom Designs, is being confused with a flower shop in Tennessee called Everbloom Design.

The owner of the U.S. flower shop drew the ire of MAGA supporters, after saying they would no longer do business with supporters of U.S. President-Elect Donald Trump.
