I toured CertainTeed’s Delta facility, BC’s only gypsum manufacturing plant. Operating since 1975, it produces drywall and recycles over 1M tonnes of gypsum annually, driving sustainability and supporting Canada’s housing goals.

This summer, #CanadaSummerJobs created 175 youth jobs in Delta, bringing over $700K in local benefits. I was glad to meet young staff from the Boys and Girls Club and Delta Chamber of Commerce, seeing how CSJ is helping them grow and contribute to the community.

I toured the set of Allegiance, a Canadian drama filmed in Surrey. This production employs over 200 local cast and crew, supporting jobs across the film and television industry, boosting local businesses, and contributing significantly to the Canadian economy while telling Canadian stories.
