Lots of actual humans use em-dashes. Do you think GenAI created the em-dash or something? That'd be quite the feat considering the em-dash has uses as early as SEVENTEEN GOD DAMN FIFTY-NINE (in works by Laurence Sterne). We're writers. The em-dash is useful. By itself it's not a genAI tell.

My cat would lay nested in the curve of my legs every single night. Without fail. I'd go to bed, and within seconds she'd be there curling up. Even when she got sick. When she died, it felt incredibly lonely. I can't fathom why anyone would think it's weird or gross for a pet to sleep with you.

So like, each of the games is a different experience in a way that doesn't really allow for quantifying which one is best. Again I, personally, will opt for AM2R if I replay Metroid 2, but cases can be made for both official versions of the game. Fuck yeah Metroid 2.

Alpha Metroids were basically the same in all three versions, though Samus Returns gave them extra moves. Gammas were mostly the same between GB and AM2R and unique in Samus Returns, and then Zetas and Omegas were completely different across all three versions of the game.

All in all, these three games under my belt...they're all fundamentally different. They're all good in their own ways. In the future I personally am likely to go for AM2R if I wanted to replay Metroid 2, but Samus Returns has its place as well. Metroid 2 is just a good time regardless!
