Long story short: I’m an asylum seeker in France now. I don’t know how long this process will take, but for I still can’t officially work here. So I’m looking for any opportunity to earn money to be able to pay for rent and food. Please, read and share this post ❤️‍🩹 ko-fi.com/illustory

WE NEED HELP
Please, read and share this!
(text version of the pics above)
We are a group of queer artists, and we are in big trouble.
In April 2025, we immigrated to France, seeking a safe place to live and make art.
Our humanitarian visas expired a year ago.
Since then, we have been trying to get legal status in France.
To be able to work, open a bank account, get health insurance and just have some basic human rights.
We spent a whole year fighting for our lives against Strasbourg Prefecture and we lost.

All this time we couldn't properly work, so we were burning our savings.
In August, all three of us were denied a residence permit.
According to the Prefecture, the only option for us To stay legally in France is to become asylum seekers.
About a week ago, we sent out our applications for the asylum.
Now we are looking at another indefinite stretch of time, before we are summoned to Paris for interviews.
It might be two months, three months, half of a year or even more... no one knows for sure.

We had planned for a year without documents max, and now it's been a year and a half already.
No matter how hard we tried to stretch our savings, they have run out.
Currently, we don't have enough money to pay for rent and food in November.
It's hard for me to admit that, but we are in huge trouble, with all our hopes and plans ruined by the French bureaucracy.
We really need your help and every little bit matters, so I came up with some options for how you can support us.

10 ans de Zevent 🎉 Ce fut vraiment rigolo. Petit doodle de @momanus.bsky.social pour célébrer ça !

Painting of french streamer Momanus wearing a pastel headband on his shiny bald head and a tshirt of hit game "Escape from Tarkov". He's drinking his iced coffee from a straw in a plastic cup. "Z Event 2026" "Bourrez les dons !" can be read in the background.

Under the sun, they're on the run. #OTR

Illustration showing the protagonists of On the Run in front of what they're running from - behind Mayu we can see her mother, behind Bill we can see Francis and behind Elliott there's a photo of his deceased lovers.

Vavoom, Sorted! @vavoom-sorted-art.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Pride wings~ A quote on Tumblr inspired me to draw this as my last contribution to this year's pride month! Stay colourful, stay strong, and stay alive. You are not alone. Feel free to download and use this for free! All my pride art is under creative commons 🌈

A black wing and a white wing, interlocking feathers at their tips, on a rainbow background.
The black feathers are shimmering iridescent, the white feathers are dusted with rainbow sparkles.
It is signed "vavoom-sorted-art".

A quote on rainbow background:
"Angel wings dusted rainbow and demon ones reflecting purples and blues from the sun. let them have their moment of open happiness." ~@ineffable-storms

- Angel, what do you see ? - Everything #goodomens

Fanart of Good Omens : we can see Aziraphale's eye with a golden tear and Crowley in the form of a snake crawling on the angel's face as well as 2 delicate white feathers. The whole thing is sprinkled with tiny stars.

Ok, now that we’ve had a week to think about it, here’s another, more S1-ish fix it (as the last one was desperate and had issues…but let’s be honest, so did the “season”.) #GoodOmens

Neurodivergent people can recognize every pattern except when someone is interested in them.

A photo still from Good Omens 2 depicting Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) blissfully ignoring the way Crowley (David Tennant) stares and preens at him and choosing to focus on the clipboard in his hand.
