Getting to this lake for sunrise is quite an adventure. From the 3am trailhead start, to the rock scrambling in the dark, to the very high risk of running into a grizzly bear! Once the sun comes up and graces this scene with light, all the effort to get there is forgotten about.

After my first time shooting this train, I knew I wanted to try to get a photo of it coming head on. This was going to require setting my camera up on the tracks. I used my telephoto lens in order to be as far away from the train as possible while still making it big enough in the frame.
