Yeah, olive oil and cheese and pastries can make you a little fat. Yeah, sunshine gives you wrinkles and wine ruins your liver and spending money on pretty things eats up your savings. But unfortunately, I've decided to enjoy life anyways

WalesOnline has some right brass balls to charge a £5 a month Premium service to access some news stories for a website that is unusable without an adblocker and frequently has typos in their stories

The new mega Dragonite looks kinda wack though I'm gonna be honest?? Not digging the wings, but hopefully the shiny isn't green this time?? Also absolute my luck that they release the shiny SV legendaries a WEEK after I lend my Scarlet cartridge to Shan's sister

I've been applying for jobs for a few months now as I've a titful where I am, nothing has filled me with more rage than having to deal with WorkDay, why do I need a new username and password per job application???? Awful UI

I really enjoyed commentating the F1 league last season, I can yap with the best of them but it's been nice to be driving again floating in the mid pack, absolute vibes and chaos

Any of y'all fruit tea lovers? I fell in love with mango tea in Japan and I'm trying some peach and apricot tonight, I'm curious if y'all got any recommendations~

I think I'm getting old, the month or two leading up to me turning 27 I've started having an affinity for having various herbal/fruit based teas before bed~

happy wednesday!! hope you all had a lovely day! four of my little handmade ghosties went to a new home together today 🏡 i’m going to miss them as they’re some of my favourites, esp the bride and the bat, but i’m happy they’ll be loved by someone else 🩷 #art #crafting #spooky #spookycute #kawaii

Four of my handmade clay ghosts, along with their unique adoption certificates. From left to right: a ghost with a black top hat, a ghost with red devil horns, a ghostly bride, with a pink rose, and a ghost with brown bat wings.

Screenshots of the number '10%' and then Gianmarco's attempt to get 10% of the audience to raise their hand by saying "raise your hand if you've ever played Dungeons and Dragons". Leading 90% of the audience to raise their hand, leaving Gianmarco ashamed.

I actually went out and bought myself a GameCube and Wind Waker (along with a load of other nostalgic games) a few years ago and I was surprised at how easy it was to get, but I'll tell you the original WW has aged in a lot of ways old games have 😂

Elliot~ @elliotplaysgames.bsky.social · 22/05/2025

Hell yeah!! I never got a chance to play the remaster but I played the original on the GameCube so much as a kid, I'm so excited to be able to play it when the new Switch comes out~ (and when I can afford it 🙃)

I'll take a 50/100 I'm pretty happy with that, I've played an eclectic assortment of games in my time, and yet I can confidently say I've never played a Sonic game for more than 5 hours (which was Sonic Mania)

Elliot~ @elliotplaysgames.bsky.social · 20/05/2025

I love seeing people on my timeline going absolutely hog wild over some sort of fandom or niche that they're in that I've never heard of like hell yeah you go girl, be excited and enjoy things I'm rooting for you

Elliot~ @elliotplaysgames.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

I always appreciate when someone on my timeline outs themselves as a MAGA nutjob because it makes it extremely easy to unfollow and block them

Also, it allows people who are native speakers to comment on your exercises to let you know if you've got a grammar thing wrong or something like that which is a pretty cool feature. I dropped Duolingo and have been using it to learn Japanese and Spanish and it's been pretty neat so far!~

@ysbryd.posts.art and I have been using Busuu at the moment which has been pretty good, I'm reasonably certain they use AI in-app to generate people speaking the language, but as far as I can tell the company itself is manned by actual people and isn't aggressively pro-AI
