Heading back to work today after most of the week off. It kind of bothers me that even though I don't necessarily enjoy my job, where I don't fit in and where there's favouritism and cliches abound, I'm glad to be getting out of the house and being surrounded by people again.

Random observation: BBC Sherlock is not a comfort show for me. It's a comfort fandom. It's been nearly a decade since the show ended and I still believe that we were let down. I'll take dozens of h/c-snuggle fics over John repeatedly blaming Sherlock up when things don't go his way.

When I was studying abroad in America, I made friends with a sweet boy in my class and in time we gave dating a go. It went wrong quickly, partly due to him smothering me with too much attention, but also? I specifically told him I wasn't ready to have sex. He still tried to go further.
