Still... Enjoy yourself... Whatever you do

I do too... I have a box of letters from when we were in the 6th form and students... We always wrote to each other...

Crikey! S and I lost touch after she moved to Brighton possibly post the cabaret thing... I have an address but haven't heard anything back for ages...

@gargarin.bsky.social Adding to my hasty comment this morning - daughters were S and R - S was my friend... Parents both teachers at the village school...

If that's who I think it is, she was my best friend at school - sadly, we lost touch years ago...

I'm looking forward to reading this one - apart from anything else, one of my favourite bands of all time 😁

Indeed - medal is a noun, not a verb...

Goodness! Look after yourself! I did wave generally in your direction when we drove through Luxembourg on Tuesday on the way back to the ferry - 10 days camping in the Alps was much needed...

Sancerre is my favourite white *clinks glass* Much cooler here in Norfolk as well...

Still full of rage tears here... I remember the bemused, shared shock among my teacher colleagues that day...

It was lovely - plus we lived in Ghana 30 years ago when we were first married, so I keep an eye on their progress too... As well as speaking a bit of Twi...

I have the World Service playing quietly overnight... Imagine my joy to stir to this morning's 'In the Studio' to catch @imcmillan.bsky.social talking poetry... I'm going to listen back to the whole programme 😁

And I can hear this in both his voice and me Mam's...

AB and VW are my touchstones for writing how northern women talk... Perfection...

Thank you! I don't mind the orifice possibly because I've only ever used the delta one on my Rose for the past 20 years... First bobbin done 😁

One week on from the new knee and there is #spinning 😁 A dear friend has lent me her brand new Argonaut and we're getting along famously 😁

A photo of an Argonaut electric spinning wheel with the beginnings of a single on the bobbin. The wheel is dark green and the fibre is shades of pale yellow

My parents (in their late 70s) often travel from Morley as they consider it to be one of the best markets around - they're not affluent but like to eat well and value the quality and choice.

Brodle is an underused word... Dad used to brodle his pipe...
