I have been so very fortunate in my life to have had many years with family. I didn’t lose a grandparent until I was nearly 40. My mother passed at age 82. My Dad is 90. My children (43 and 46) are healthy. I grieve for those who’ve lost family too soon. I lost my little brother; I share that grief.

I took a cruise down the Nile River last year, and also visited Jordan. At Petra I became friends with two of the guides. I was introduced to an entire clan, and welcomed. The Bedouin people there are struggling to survive because of Trump. Keep them in your hearts, please.

Thank you Christian Bale! I attended my first orientation to become a foster parent. There are over 300 children in Orange County CA in group foster homes, 1/3 of them are teens. Most siblings are separated. This isn’t how we should be treating our children. I’ll ask to foster teens and siblings. 🤞
