Keine Selbstversuche.

I call it done. Like the contast between background with less detailed and highly detailed olives. Some mistakes are still visible but I try to leave it alone. #aquarell #gouache + #ColoredPencil on 24x32cm mould-made 300g/m² paper. #kleineKunstklasse #traditionalArt #painting #ArtistsOfBluesky

A watercolor painting shows a still life of bright yellow lemons and deep purple olives resting on a rustic wooden surface. Green olive branches with elongated leaves spread across the composition, framing the fruits. One lemon is cut open, revealing its detailed interior. The background is softly blended in muted greens and browns, creating a natural, Mediterranean atmosphere that highlights the vivid colors of the fruit and foliage.

A close-up watercolor painting shows a halved lemon with its bright yellow segments, placed next to three deep purple olives. Surrounding them are green olive leaves painted with layered shades of blue-green. The textured watercolor paper adds depth, while the vivid contrast between the yellow fruit and the dark olives creates a lively Mediterranean feel.

First sketch in my new sketchbook. I like starting out with something really simple to take the pressure off. Mushrooms are very forgiving models. #kleinekunstklasse #landscapeart

🍀 #introduction Update🍀 I’m Jana, a part-time #watercolor and mixed-media artist from Germany 🎨 I love capturing nature in small, vibrant Polaroid-style #paintings. Each piece is handmade at my kitchen table. I sell via DM or polaroidpaintingsde.etsy.com #LandscapeArt #art #nature #artforsale

watercolor painting sheet featuring four distinct landscape scenes arranged in a grid - two on the top row and two on the bottom. Each scene is labeled with a number and a title, and they vary in mood, color, and natural setting.

Top Left – “19 Reed” A sandy path winds through tall, golden reeds and grasses, leading toward a calm body of water. The scene is bathed in warm sunlight, evoking a peaceful, coastal or lakeside atmosphere. The colors are soft and earthy, with yellows, browns, and hints of blue.

Top Right – “20 Dead End” A rocky trail ends abruptly at a cliff edge, where a single tree stands in full bloom. The sky is dramatic, painted in rich pinks and purples, suggesting either sunrise or sunset. The mood is contemplative, with a sense of isolation and beauty.

Bottom Left – “21 Purple” A vibrant field of purple flowers stretches across the foreground, with a distant tree line under a bright blue sky. The colors are bold and saturated, emphasizing the lushness and vitality of the landscape. It feels like a warm spring or summer day.

Bottom Right – “22 First Light” A rocky shoreline meets crashing waves as the sun rises over the horizon. The sky is filled with soft pastel tones—pinks, oranges, and light blues—capturing the gentle tranquility of early morning. The scene conveys freshness and renewal.

Square watercolor framed with a black line on a rectangular, portrait-oriented paper. A vivid cluster of red and orange chili peppers hangs against a bright blue background, with touches of green stems and leaves adding contrast. The glossy highlights emphasize their smooth, curved shapes. Number 108 is written in the bottom left corner.

Square watercolor framed with a black line on a rectangular, portrait-oriented paper. A small lush island with bright green trees and large pale rocks sits in the middle of a calm, clear lake. The vivid reflections and detailed greenery evoke a peaceful summer atmosphere. Number 107 is written in the bottom left corner.

Square watercolor framed with a black line on a rectangular, portrait-oriented paper. A solitary tree with a thick canopy of green leaves and clusters of bright orange fruit stands on a sunlit coastal slope. Tall grasses and rocky patches surround its base, and in the background, the sea glistens in shades of blue under a pale sky. Number 103 is written in the bottom left corner.
Around the painting are a yellow and a white Posca marker, two watercolor pans, and a paint palette filled with various shades of blue.

Speaking of which... ...had a goofy idea, drew a goofy idea.

Four panel B&W comic strip drawn by Greg Pak that starts with a warrior saying "You have my sword," an elf saying "And my bow," and a dwarf saying "And my axe." In the last panel, a halfling stands alone, awkwardly holding the sword, bow, and axe, saying "uh, guys?" as the others exit the frame.
