I ❤️ science! Bedaquiline is an amazing drug for tuberculosis, greatly shortening DR-TB treatment But it also works for leprosy (another ancient mycobacterial infection)! In patients with multibacillary leprosy, bedaquiline cleared M. leprae in 4 weeks www.nejm.org/doi/full/10....
