Now that it's spooky season let's look at this year's offerings of SPOOKY FANTA Orange: Not bad, but a film character/tie-in feels like a cop out. A sell out. Not really in the spirit of Spooky Fanta.

A bottle of Fanta Orange with the Scream mask guy on the label.

Lemon: Now we're talking. A spooky pumpkin scarecrow guy. No film tie-in (I think??) just classic spooky vibes. Top marks, Fanta Lemon.

Fruit Twist: Nothing. Pathetic. The worst flavour of Fanta, surprising no-one, puts in zero effort. Get in the bin.

Rubbish, horrible Fanta Fruit Twist with no spooky theme at all.

A splendid magazine that also includes, unexpectedly, a review of my Croydon Spaceport solo journaling game (which I never anticipated anyone even trying to play, never mind apply critical thought to)

Maybe it’s not the RNLIs job to review their security protocols but the job of government to protect the amazing volunteers of the RNLI. And they could start by condemning the far-right and actively not pursue policies and rhetoric that legitimate them.

My friend Ian is doing a fun series of Let's Play videos for Star Trek: 25th Anniversary, each video is one 'mission' so if you fancy what are effectively new episodes of Star Trek The Original Series narrated by a witty Yorkshireman, take a look: youtu.be/rN_PDdXJF-I?...

I recently learnt that Ian Miller (Games Workshop/Warhammer/Fighting Fantasy artist extraordinaire) did a short run of covers for Swamp Thing in the early 90s. I am glad to have learnt this.
