This is a $45 -6in bakery cake. There was liquid pooling it the bottom of this and the sponge sooo saturated, you couldn’t pick it up with your fork. No credit just a we’ll look into it. Been going here for years. I suspect new ownership. Will not return. Funny how they just added a location.

Found the Hexenfelsen outside the city walls of Nördlingen. Not just a funky geological feature, but in the middle 1500’s they burned 35 “witches” at the stake here. It sure if @hatrik10.bsky.social had visited this in his travels.

Die Fuggerei in Augsburg is quite a wonderful place. www.fugger.de/en/fuggerei it’s the oldest active social housing in the world. They even have some of the inhabitants working in the facility. The beer garden there is also quite spectacular. A must visit in Augsburg.

They both make good beer. There is a great Belgian brewer in Powell river of all places. I have had some of the .5 beers also just today discovered light hefeweiße 2.9%
