💧From today the Water (Special Measures Act) Bill will significantly increase the ability to bring forward criminal charges against law-breaking water executives. ✅The Labour government is cleaning up our rivers, lakes and seas through the #PlanForChange

Labour will force water companies to clean up our rivers and lakes. From today, new powers come into force that means water execs who cover up illegal sewage spills could face up to two years in prison - the toughest measures in history.

Huge news: Labour are looking to rewrite the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan according to Nursing Times. There has been A LOT of criticism from the medical profession on the details of the plan, first drawn up by the Tories in 2023.
