It's been awhile but uh, here's another ridiculous Ostagar Man chapter. archiveofourown.org/works/863097... #dragonage #geldauran #ostagaristhetexasofthedas #theforgottenones #dragonageau #dragonagefanfic

There's always some weird hangover after finishing a story - anyone else get that too? Anyway, I finished a penny dreadful type gothic romance / horror for Emmrich Volkarin x Inquisitor Lavellan set in a Victorian Era Skyhold for the spring 2026 Dragon Age Big Bang.

This innovation is leaps (or, at least, hops) ahead of AI, so I’m embracing it.

For more on my position on AI, go listen right now: mishacollins.substack.com/p/is-ai-goin...

NEW PATTERN ✨ This one was outta my comfort zone, but MAN was it fun to stitch.

A hand holding a crossstitch embroidery in a hot pink frame. It features a white on black design, with an art nouveau border. The text reads "live laugh losing it", with a glitch effect on "losing it"

I also just finished up a 3 chapter short story featuring a very Texas-coded Sheriff Geldauran with lyrium smuggling, the Carta and a very cute Deputy. archiveofourown.org/works/774447... #dragonage #dragonagefanfiction

I realized I never shared @manuzillust.bsky.social 's art that I commissioned for my DABB 2025 piece - This Forgotten Binding - of my modern Solavellan-like story with the Forgotten Ones. Look at them! Sobbing. Gnawing. Crying. (@alixwiltonregan.bsky.social - tagging for Solavellan!)

For someone who is quite good at technology (it’s my job), it is infuriating when you have to look up a YouTube video on a new technology and realize you’ve been struggling for months because you need to LOCK THE DAMN THING IN. Take my IT card away, please.

Me, before DABB: This modern AU I am writing will be a one off, a self-contained story so I can move on from the idea. Me, after DABB: I now have 5 more stories set inside this AU, along with 2 one-shots and have created a weirdly specific love for a Sheriff character.

You ever wanted to know about a modern Thedas AU with reincarnated gods, The Forgotten Ones, what Solas gets up to while teaching, and a Texan-coded Geldauran? Boy, I got a story for you. archiveofourown.org/works/740512...

The Dragon Age Big Bang I participated in will be out on December 4th and I might waste away while waiting. (Dramatically)

I don't post a lot but when I do... it's mediocre at best.

Work on my novel? Nah. Work on a fanfic that expands on very little lore of a small subgroup of said Fandom? Obviously, yes.

Someone needs to make a Schoolhouse Rock! but for neurodivergence. I need an Executive Dysfunction version of Conjunction Junction.

Catholic School took away my "Green Mile" books during *reading time* at 11. Read the weird thing, it's worth it.

General Service Announcement: Be nice to IT support staff if you want anything to be done in a timely manner again. Or just, be nice to support staff in any field and then you will have a better time AND be a better person. 🤷‍♀️

You ever read something you wrote long ago, and wonder: how the fuck did I go that hard? I impressed myself.

I don't want anyone I know to read stories I've written, but like... praise me anyway?
