Tried Dungeon Automata. Slick, but I found the tutorial tedious; combat and exploration are fully automated and the only gameplay left is choosing how they operate, but there are no choices to make. Having to lose to the first boss to unlock the node that lets you beat them is egregious

I talked about it with some people who liked the film and they saw it as a conscious reinterpretation of Odysseus's character. I think that's defensible, though I find this Odysseus much less interesting than the original (and it continues the general trend of sanitizing Greek heroes)

Adaptational changes are fair game but there's something a bit depraved about the lengths Nolan's Odyssey goes to to make the wanton slaughter of the suitors more palatable. It shouldn't be palatable; Odysseus is killing dozens of people. Why is everything a revenge isekai WN now

Beat Greatest Cappie! Very cute game. I found the stages a bit too easy to clear as someone with a moderate amount of Magic Tower experience, but there's always gold medals, no-skill clears, the EX stages, etc.

Spent most of today playing The Greatest Cappie (ぐれいてすとキャッピー). It's a magic tower anthology game like Tactical Nexus, but with shorter, easier levels and less metaprogression (just passives to choose from). It also has lots of NPCs and funny little events, which is probably the WWA influence
