Mash the bios, if you can't pass from bios stage you have a hardware problem, you said its the battery so I'd look to replace this. Usually when the bios beeps angry at you, it's hardware related. So not a lot to do here if you can't pass POST screen.

We are on the same boat, I was heartbroken yesterday when I've read that in Europe its estimated that 70% to 90% of people living with autism are jobless. 1 of every 4 persons living with autism don't have a job, the worst part being that a diagnosis doesn't get you a pension. It's bleak 😔
