One more year to celebrate! Here is the books I've worked on this year. I love romantic and cutesy stories and my clients know it (ignore the casual gore around there lol). Also, welcome to my cottage core era.

Well... now that I've finished this year's work, I've done my annual review and... well... I think I've counted 62 volumes 🫠 which I think is my record, but I'm not going to repeat it... it's been so stressful! 😩 It will surely halve next year, I want to return to my regular life! ✨

If any translators want to get better at creative writing in English and are open to doing online classes, I can hook you up with my mentor. I'm not sure how she's doing things right now, but she got me to where I am. If anyone wants recs for books about creative writing, I'll do a thread.

Kind reminder to editors and people in charge that a tiny little compliment on someone's job does A LOT for their mental health and productivity. It doesn't take time, it doesn't take much space and, most importantly, it's free! Leave a nice compliment to your local letterer/translator/proofreader.

It's incredible how Adobe manages to make each version of their programs worse in terms of performance and bugs instead of better. Then they have the audacity to put a big ass window every time you open the program saying that you're using an older version. And the audacity to increase the rates.
