Star Wars Galactic Racer being one of the best reviewed games of the entire year (88 on Metacritic) makes my heart sing Got it for free with my GPU so I'm very excited to jump in next week

My new small living room PC has been an actual gamechanger (and yes it does have a handle lol). I'm so incredibly impressed what this little low-spec/low power box can accomplish. It's shining in the most unoptimized titles like BL4. And all you need is a controller. It's the perfect "console".

I got my new small form factor living room PC a couple of weeks ago. So of course I got an email from Valve today saying I can reserve a Steam Machine lol... And I was on the waiting list, not even in the reservation queue #SteamMachine #PCgaming

PC benchmarks are kinda 'broken'. Almost every outlet who does it test on Ultra (or equvivalent highest setting). This doesn't make much sense imo other than for the absolute top end hardware. Ultra and high is usually *almost indistinguishable* but the performance uplift is often like 30% or more🤷‍♂️

The 10th Anniversary Expedition of No Man's Sky is just phenomenal. Something truly special. I won't spoil it, but if you have any interest in the game, please play it. It'll be so worth it, trust. #NoMansSky #HelloGames #PCGaming

One thing that bothered me in the Direct is Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity - Definitive Edition, why isn't this a Switch 2 Edition game with an upgrade pack? If you own the game on a Switch cartridge it's basically useless while you get a discount you still have to buy the full digital version.

#DLSS5 is a product of GPU generations hitting a power wall. Now they have to invent 'features' that significantly tanks performance to artificially push people to the 'next gen' of products A way better development would be to push today's performance at lower power levels and at smaller sizes🤷‍♂️

Xbox Disc to Digital is a huge W for... #Xbox. They just managed to apply digital DRM to your physical library. So now that license can be revoked and you could have a disc shaped paper weight BUT it's also cool tech that *does* make sense in a lot of ways. And now it really is "play anywhere"

The Nintendo Switch 2 gives me a lot of the Xbox 360 feelings all over again. It's an endless stream of high quality, super fun and varied exclusive games that is just a pure joy to play. Albeit in a more colorful, less gritty wrapping than the 360 era😅 #Nintendo #NintendoSwitch2

After rolling credits and beating the endgame raids I can confidently say that #SplatoonRaiders is a *must play* for any looter shooter and horde shooter sickos. It's like a Helldivers 2 without the extraction paired with a Destiny 2 loot loop. And the movement and shooting just feels awesome!

I've become obsessed with #SplatoonRaiders. It's just *so much fun* to play! And the surpriaingly deep build craft, enemy variety and mission variety is top tier. #Nintendo really pulled off a triumph of a looter shooter here.

#Xbox could achieve obscene profit margins in induvidual smaller projects. Just put some tiny crews to make stuff like a: • Slay the Spire-like in the universe of Elder Scrolls • Vampire Survivors, but it's Gears of War • Isometric survival RPG in the universe of Fallout I know I'd buy 'em😅

031

Elegant 👑 @elegantplays.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

Multiple things can be true today: 1. A #Fallout blowout, awesome! About fuggin time. As a massive fan of it I'm cautiously excited. 2. The way it came to be sucks. This is an icky #Xbox PR move to distract us from their bs. 3. Yes, I'm very curious about what to come to #Starfield aswell.
