Keeping Seattle safe includes protecting workers from wage theft and employer retaliation. Enforcing worker protection laws puts money back in the pockets of vulnerable people. These aren’t tough concepts to grasp…except if you’re our current City Attorney, I guess.

Between 2019 and 2021, Seattle filed 11 labor standards cases. Since Ann Davidson was sworn in, it’s filed two.

We don’t use SWAT teams to enforce parking tickets, but that’s what ICE is doing. They’re sending militarized tactical units to enforce civil immigration violations. Tell Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell and City Attorney Anne Davidson to make sure SPD abides by the Keep Washington Working Act.
