Watching #speedruns of Chronotron has informed a lot of decisions for Super Chronotron. Since #Godot is going to have different jank, the old exploits won't work but I can design around pain points. There's was levels where you had to wait for a bomb to explode. I've added a detonator (1/2)

I'm really excited with my progress on Super Chronotron today, after I managed to finish job applications. This has been such a good way to learn Godot. I figured out tweens today which is perfect for porting an old Flash game that ran on tweens! Now I want to refactor some stuff to use tweens!

I got the core game mechanic of Chronotron working in #godot ! You can go back in time to cooperate with past selves to solve puzzles, like this door that only stays open while you stand on the button. #indiedev #gamedev I'm still learning Godot so this took longer than I expected but I'm excited!

I got an email from the company that owns mortgage that I've overpaid for property taxes, get a 55$ refund check and my monthly mortgage paymes are also going to drop by 55$. I'm now definitely paying half for 3x the space of the rent at my old 1 bedroom apartment.

GDScript feels so strange with its lack of ending semicolons and curly braces. Like walking on stairs with no handrails. In CompSci 101 I'd often forget semicolons and get compiler errors (this was before IDEs). Now I have to delete the semicolons I reflexively add after 2 decades of programming.
