People going "Don't worry, my dog is friendly" are generally inconsiderate about their dogs. I remember a few years back my then-toddler being chased by a "don't worry, it's friendly" dog on the local school oval. Now he's eight, he runs 100m out of his way to avoid *any* encounters with a dog.

If Israel has the right to issue (or deny) "permits" to work in Gaza, then they control Gaza. Which means that a large swathe of people under Israeli rule are not even considered citizens, let alone have a say in running the country ruling them. Israel is NOT a democracy (unless an apartheid one)

International organizations have said Israel's rules are arbitrary and could endanger staff. The ministry said around 25 organizations, or 15%, of the NGOs working in Gaza did not have their permits renewed.
