Little by little, the wheels of your life have slowly fallen off—

Dear other artists, I have just discovered that uploading pngs to webglaze or running pngs through Glaze produces FAR more desirable outcomes than jpgs. Wish I knew this beforehand as I'd be uploading all my works as pngs! A small tippy tip from me to you. :)

The thing that drives me nuts about Palworld is that Pokemon-likes have been around for DECADES. Recently, even! Remember Temtem? It's completely possible to make A Game Like That, even in aesthetics without resorting to AI bullshit or "hey let me change a few answers on your homework" design grabs

This is very true. Everything you want to learn about any art or craft is freely available on YouTube. The problem is, you then have to do the work, which is the sticking point for many.

A tweet by Jess Owen which reads:

Al didn't democratize art.

Artists did.

Free YouTube tutorials, sketch pages, advice blogs, works-in-progress, mentorship, AMAs, process videos. Sharing materials, stock references, resources, and technique. These are freely available to anyone who wants to learn.

No, but this is what made me leave Masto. Skulls? CW them. Mushrooms? CW them. Eyes? CW. FOOD?? CW it's getting out of hand, that is not a functional site. Listen, I get gore and porn. Ok. Fine. We do that. Everything else is your own responsibility to curate. I say this as someone scared of cats.

Basically my rule of thumb is: Do I see this when I go outside? Downtown? Normal time of day? Yes? Then it doesn't need a CW.
